My friend wants to give me a baby shower for my 2nd?

this will be my 2nd child but first girl. I really do not need anything besides diapers and baby supplies since she can use most of her brothers things. I requested that it be a low key affair, maybe after the baby is born so it will be more of a “meet the baby” party. I also requested to not ask for gifts as I do not want to come off looking greedy but in all honesty any help we recieve is greatly appreciated. Is is tacky to have a “meet the baby” party? She said nicely that I need to back off and let her throw the party but I do have this feeling. Is it the horomones or what LOL any suggestions or comments. Thanks
