When did your baby start sleeping pretty much through the night?
I just had a baby and I realize that for now he needs to wake up around the clock, but I wanted to see what experiences you have getting your babies to sleep through the night. Any advice on getting a baby to sleep through the night when he is ready? Or at least cutting down to one feeding between 11pm and 7 am?
How early can a baby be born and survive?
I am 31 weeks pregnant and am just curious about how early a baby can be born and survive. I hope to make it to my due date but I am just wondering if all babies born before 37 weeks have to have long stays in the hospital. Does anybody know if there are babies that have survived being born 8 weeks early without having to stay in the hospital. I have had no signs of pre-term labor thus far, I am just worrying about what could happen to me.

What do you feed baby Spiny leaf insects/phasmids?
We are in Australia and have hundreds of phasmid eggs that are just starting to hatch. The adults ate gum leaves, but I know the babies need the tips of new gum leaves. These aren’t easy to access and the baby phasmids are dying. Is there anything else we can feed them, because I’m having trouble getting to the younger leaves of our gum tree supply! Advice from anyone in Australia in particular with baby phasmids greatly appreciated.
I’m looking for information on what to feed BABY phasmids.
How to dress baby to bring her home from the hospital in California winter?
Most books, brochures, and web sites mention that babies are released from hospitals in receiving blankets. However, it is not clear how to secure baby in the car seat with 5-point harness if he/she is blanketed? We live in SF and expect to bring our baby home in January. Thank you very much!
When did your baby start to make eye contact with you and track objects with their eyes?
My son is 4 weeks old and still doesn’t really make eye contact or hold your gaze.
Most baby books say at 4 weeks old they can accomplish those tasks, but I’m not concerned.
My son was 2 1/2 weeks early which makes him a little later on some milestones.
And I know all babies develop at different times.
When did your baby start making eye contact, or tracking a toy or object with their eyes?
What do you think about putting the baby on a budget?
How much is to much to spend on the baby in a month?
My daughter was just born in May. Anways, my Fiancee keeps spending heaps of money buying her stuff. She spent like 1500 between the babies birthdate and today. Mind you we already had baby furniture, cloths, formula, and diapers. Although, we have had to reup on the last two a few times.
So, anyways she thinks it unreasonable to put the baby on a budget. But I dont think its out of the question at all. What do you think and how much would you budget for the baby?
I am not speaking of emergency type situations, I am speaking of the every day needs and my fiancee’s wants.
The two of us already have budgets, that we decided on when she got pregnant. Now she is using the baby as an excuse to spend extra money.
Michael B- I am a grown man. I can do without a 100,000 dollar car.
Why do you people equivilate cheap with being responsible?
